Objective: Teach all legal aspect and responsibilities of work at height. The intention of this course is to
train the worker to identify and alleviate risks involving falling hazards in the work
environment, while providing an understanding of risk assessment and fall protection plan.
The worker will be provided with information allowing him to understand the ?do?s and
don?ts? of personal fall arrest system. The worker will be able to work while exposed to fall
hazard with the appropriate methodology and in the event of emergency par?take in basic
rescue scenario. The worker will be able as well to conduct all daily inspections on his personal
fall arrest equipment while collaborating with his supervisor by reporting any unsafe
situations.
Objective: Applying rigging technics in the field of pipe laying in the offshore industry. The objective is to
provide to the student an understanding of all risk and methodology in this field. The students
shall be able to use all specifics equipment required to the task while keeping in mind its
limitation. The worker will be exposed to the equipment and its inspections while simulating
the daily routine involving the connection of umbilical.
Objective: To teach all basic technics related to industrial rigging. To allow the student to understand all
risks and methods of control involved with the activity. To introduce the basics of applied
mathematics to load and angle calculations. To allow the student to have knowledge and
hands on experience of most basics rigging equipment such as the one involved with hoisting
and connecting hardware. To have a good knowledge of inspections on most rigging
equipment.
Objective: to teach the fundamentals of high angle rescue. To understand the trauma and risk associated
with a fall and suspension.
